Maintenance and Repair

Maintenance and repair work must strictly comply with all safety instructions in this manual.

Maintenance, calibration, and repair work must be carried out according to the latest Service Guideopen in new window.

WARNING

  • Keep the product clean (daily cleaning should be done).
  • Check for loose fasteners every three months.

Repairs must be carried out by authorized service providers or professional technicians designated by our company. It must be ensured that the prescribed safety level for maintenance and repair work is maintained, that valid national or regional work safety regulations are followed, and that all safety functions are checked for proper operation.

The purpose of maintenance and repair work is to ensure the normal operation of the system or to help it return to normal status in case of system failure. Repair includes fault diagnosis and actual repair.

The following safety procedures and warnings must be followed when operating the robot or control box:

DANGER

  • Necessary precautions must be taken during repairs to prevent others from reconnecting the system power during the repair period. After power-off, the system should be re-checked to ensure it is indeed powered off.
  • Please check the grounding connection of the power plug before restarting the system.
  • Users are strictly prohibited from disassembling the robot or control box themselves.
  • When LeBai designated service providers or professional technicians are repairing, please follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) regulations.
  • Avoid water or dust entering the robot or control box.

DANGER

  • It is forbidden to change any information in the software safety configuration. If safety parameters are changed, the entire robot system should be treated as a new system, which means that all safety audit processes, such as risk assessment, must be updated.
  • Replace faulty parts with new parts with the same part number or equivalent parts approved by our company.
  • Immediately reactivate all disabled safety measures after the work is completed.
  • Record all repair operations and keep them in the technical documentation related to the entire robot system.
  • There are no parts in the control box that can be repaired by the end user. If maintenance or repair service is required, please contact your dealer or our company.
