Safety Guidelines

Before installing and powering on the robot, please carefully read this section and strictly follow the correct sequence and method for installation and startup.

Safety Warning Signs

DANGER

When this sign appears, please pay special attention to warning descriptions that may cause electrical hazards. Failure to pay attention may result in personal injury, damage, or equipment damage.

Danger/Warning

When this sign appears, please pay special attention to warning descriptions that may cause personal safety or equipment damage. Failure to pay attention may result in personal injury, damage, or severe equipment damage.

WARNING

When this sign appears, please pay attention to matters that need attention during operation. Failure to pay attention may cause incorrect operation and accidental injury.

Installation Environment Conditions

Before installing the robot, check whether the installation environment conditions meet the requirements to avoid robot faults or accidental injury.

  • Ambient temperature: 0~40°C
  • Ambient relative humidity: 25%~85%
  • Surrounding environment: No corrosive gases or liquids, no oil smoke or salt spray, no dust or metal shavings, no radioactive materials, no flammable items, no electromagnetic noise. Avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.
  • Workspace: Must ensure sufficient safe space (drag teaching, maintenance, etc.).
  • Installation surface: When installing the robot, choose a sturdy and vibration-resistant surface that can withstand at least 10 times the base joint's maximum torque (40 N·m) and at least 5 times the robot's weight (robot body weight 9.5 kg).

WARNING

  • Usage environment: prevent water, dust, oil smoke, etc. from entering the equipment. Pay attention to shielding equipment in similar scenarios.
  • Do not disassemble the machine to avoid product damage.
  • During product disassembly and assembly, handle gently to prevent collisions and drops.

DANGER

The robot must be placed on a sturdy, vibration-resistant surface. Ensure robot operation is not affected by impact or vibration. Otherwise, loose robot mounting screws may cause the robot to tip over, resulting in injury or property damage.

DANGER

Ensure the installation environment is free of flammable gases, flammable dust, flammable liquids, and other substances. Otherwise, it may cause explosions or fires.

DANGER

Ensure the installation environment is free of water, corrosive gases, metal shavings, dust, and other substances. Also ensure the installation environment temperature and humidity are within allowable ranges. Otherwise, it may cause robot malfunction, failure, or electrical leakage.

DANGER

Do not use in environments exceeding the robot's anti-electromagnetic interference and electrostatic discharge capabilities. Otherwise, it may cause robot shutdown, trajectory changes, and unpredictable dangers. See Reference Standards for details.

Installation Precautions

The control box should be placed horizontally, with at least 5 cm clearance on both sides for air intake and exhaust to ensure good air circulation and heat dissipation.

DANGER

The control box and cables should avoid contact with any liquids, and do not touch plugs with wet hands. Otherwise, it may cause personal electric shock, injury, or even death.

DANGER

The control box must not be exposed to dust or humid environments exceeding IP20 protection rating. Pay close attention to environments with conductive dust.

IP20 protection rating meaning:

  1. Dust protection: Prevents human fingers from touching internal parts and prevents medium-sized objects (diameter greater than 12.5 mm) from entering.
  2. Water protection: No special protection against water or moisture.
